The Juried Student Exhibition is an annual event open to all undergraduate and graduate ISU students. Three entries are allowed from every student, which includes: sculpture, ceramics, prints, photographs, drawings, paintings, graphic design, and animation. Each year the exhibition is judged by an outside artist or art professor. This year Eva Kwong, ceramist and print maker from Kent State University, is judging the submissions. There are a total of 118 submissions this year, which Kwong chose 72 works from 49 artists. Twenty merit and purchase awards will be announced during a reception Thursday, January 26, from 5 to 7 pm. The exhibition and reception is free and open to the public. Group tours are available by calling Barbara Racker at 812-237-3787. The exhibition runs through February 10 and is located at the University Art Gallery on ISU's campus.
