Sycamore Video Graduate: Matt Ulm

Matt Ulm, a former member of Sycamore Video, is currently working on his first feature length film, The Bottom Line. He will finish the film in March. He also works as a producer and video editor for Stage I Productions, Inc. in Evansville, Indiana, which works closely with Mead Johnson Nutrition, a global infant and children's nutrition company.

Matt was a producer and general manager for Sycamore Video. He graduated in 2000 with a degree in Radio-TV-Film. You're doing great, Matt!

Sycamore Video Graduate: Pitchaya Waiyachote

Pitchaya Waiyachote, a 2007 graduate and a former member of Sycamore Video, worked as a production assistant last summer on the movie "Angels of Paradise" in Hawaii. She has also signed on as an extra in a movie that will begin filming this week.

Pitchaya was a student reporter for Sycamore Beat from 2005 to 2007. During her time at ISU, she was a Woody Award winner in the News Package category in the 2007 Video Expo. She was also awarded Outstanding Campus Cable News Producer\Reporter in 2005 and Outstanding Radio-TV-Film Graduate in 2007. Great job, Pitchaya!

Sycamore Video Graduate: Nathan Bayless

Nathan Bayless, a 2007 graduate and former member of Sycamore Video, recently worked as a stand-in for Topher Grace on the movie set of Predators. He has also worked as a stand-in for Lou Taylor Pucci in the film Legend of Hell's Gate and was also an extra in the film Boyhood. Since moving to Austin, Texas, Nathan has had the opportunity to meet many well-known actors, including Lawrence Fishburne, Adrien Brody, Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette. He has also had the chance to meet some of his favorite filmmakers, such as Robert Rodriguez, Nimrod Antal, and Richard Linklater.

Nathan worked on Sycamore Beat, our campus cable news program for two years, and was a member of Sycamore Video throughout his entire time at ISU. His films won three Woody Awards at the Sycamore Video Expo. Since college, he has worked on a variety of productions, including Temple of Grandin, Bandslam, Ex-Terminators, A Conflict of Interest, and Friday Night Lights. Keep up the good work, Nathan!

Sycamore Video Profile: Eric Schulz


Eric graduated from New Albany High School in 2006 and is currently a Senior at ISU. He is majoring in Communication (with a focus in Electronic Media) and is minoring in Marketing. He is interested in filming and reporting news stories. He also has a passion for Marketing /Media Relations. Eric Will be graduating in May 2011. In his spare time Eric runs track and cross country for the ISU Sycamores.
