Reception for Dr. David and Dr. Debra Worley
Dr. David Worley, chair of the Communication Department and professor of communication, and Dr. Debra Worley, professor of public relations, said goodbye to students and colleagues on Wednesday. Dr. David Worley has been at ISU for 15 years and Dr. Debra Worley has been here for 11 years. Dr. David Worley received his Ph.D at Southern Illinois University, while Dr. Debra Worley received hers at Wayne State University. Both of them will forever be appreciated and remembered by students and staff. We thank them for all of their hard work and everything they have given to the department. We wish them the best of luck.

Sycamore Profile: Jessica Murray
Jessica Murray graduated with Academic Honors from North Putnam High School in Greencastle, IN. She is now a first semester senior majoring in Communication with a concentration in Journalism and a Music minor. During the summer of 2010, Jessica interned with WTWO-TV station in Farmersburg, IN. She also writes for the Indiana Statesman. Jessica's main goal is to become a print or broadcast journalist for a professional news organization. In her spare time, Jessica loves to perform in plays and musicals, as well as write her own music, and of course to sing karaoke.
Sycamore Profile: Lydia Yeng
Lydia Yeng came to the United States in 2006 from Taiwan. She graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in May of 2007. She is now a first semester senior at Indiana State. Lydia is majoring in Communication with a concentration in Electronic Media and a Marketing minor. Lydia aspires to become an international reporter. She is a member of the Taiwanese Student Association and is employed by the Office of Information Technology on campus.
